BeSmartee was founded in 2007 by mortgage industry veterans at the onset of the housing crisis. As one of the original mortgage point-of-sale platforms, the founders recognized that automating the mortgage process could improve and streamline the consumer experience, increase data integrity for lenders and lead to a day where a consumer could enter fulfillment in minutes. The founders started development in 2014 and BeSmartee went live in 2016.
